17 weeks

i cant imagine getting much bigger, even tho i know its going to happen, iv never had a belly this big so its a bit odd!

This is about what 17 weeks look like, (from the inside) the baby is around 5 inch long and weighs about  5oz

So for all the people that are expecting a bigger belly, (not just yet) she is to small still to make me look that big, instead it looks more like a beer belly

Lucky for Jeff i have not had any weird mood swings or crazy cravings, not sure he knows how good he actually has it, :)

These are some of the comments iv read, that i can totally relate and experienced my 1st & 2nd Trimester

"How much I would worry — about how the baby is doing, how he/she is growing, different pains, etc. There are a lot of unknowns."

"That I'd feel tired all the time — like constantly being on cold medication, my breasts would feel like they weighed 12 pounds each, and prenatal vitamins are huge and they taste disgusting!" — Anonymous

Boy or Girl???

So normally the hospital or your doctor tells you at 19 weeks if your having a boy or a girl, well being as im super impatient i wanted to know sooner. So i looked it up online and saw that they can tell you early. Its a 3D ultra sound place that tells you the sex of the baby as early as 14 weeks.

So we went! Jeff and i were both thinking it was going to be a boy, along with most of our friends, but just like everything else, suprise! its a GIRL " the ultra sound tech tells us" .

Since iv been thinking it was going to be a boy, i only had boy names picked out! now what???

 After a day or so, we started to get use to the idea of having a girl and loving it. Mostly me since now i can play dress up with her ( so many more options for girl clothes =) )

Very first baby picture

So this was my first ultra sound! i was 9 weeks at the time. I think in this picture the baby is sucking its thumb. But pretty crazy to finally see whats living inside of you. So this day and ultra sound did indeed confirmed i was pregnant. (=

Ready or not, change is taking place!

So far so good! Since finding out 2 months ago we have had some time to get use to the idea and now pretty excited!
Iv been a bit nauseous here and there, lost my dinner twice and feel pretty tired most of the time but over all doing good, from all the stories iv heard i was expecting it to be alot worse. The really hard part is saying good bye to my wine ....   )' :

Jeffs Birthday Suprise

So im almost 15 weeks now, but thought it would be kinda cool to have a blog about our first baby.
that way family and friends can see whats going on with the baby worm if they like to :0

We have been married for almost 5 years and figured "if it happend, it happens" and it happened! Although we were both in shock for the first week, that our lives were about to change forever, we now have grown to accept it, love it and get really excited about it.

After month n half of realizing i was late, i decided i need to take a pregnancy test,
I found out a day before Jeffs birthday Aug 6, as we were getting ready to go  out for dinner, and plan a party for the weekend, we thought we should just get it out of the way so there was no worries,
and this is what came up >>>

and then i took 6 more, and made jeff pee on one just to make sure! Well his was negative  and mine was still positive!!  Even tho we were not planning it, we defiantly were not trying to prevent it. But still we were surprised!!
