22 weeks

At 11 inches (the length of a spaghetti squash) and almost 1 pound a baby is starting to look like a miniature newborn. Her lips, eyelids, and eyebrows are becoming more distinct, and she's even developing tiny tooth buds beneath her gums. Her eyes have formed, but her irises (the colored part of the eye) still lack pigment. If you could see inside the womb, you'd be able to spot the fine hair  that covers her body and the deep wrinkles on her skin, which she'll sport until she adds a padding of fat to fill them in. Inside her belly, her pancreas — essential for the production of some important hormones — is developing steadily.

Heres a little chart to convert weeks into pregnancy months
1-4 weeks= 1 month
5-8 weeks= 2 month
9-12 weeks= 3 month
13-17 weeks= 4 month
18-22 weeks= 5 month
                           23-27 weeks= 6 months     <<<<<~~~~~
28-32 weeks= 7 months
33-36 weeks = 8 months
36-40 weeks= 9 months

Half way there! 20 weeks

Yah! So I guess 20 weeks is a bit of a milestone, for one it's the half way mark Of the pregnancy, and two it's the half way mark of seeing and holding her for the first time! Yep I'm still nervous as ever for the birth and having a healthy baby come out, but im also so excited to meet her n see who has been living inside my belly!!
I'm for sure feeling her kicks, punches and moving around, alot more now, and I LOVE it.
It some how helps me know she's alive and ok in there's. (as I'm sure I'm not the only pregnant girl that freaks out and worries about the worst sometimes).

ohhhhh and today is mine and the babies half birthdays, haha..... so in exactly 6 months ill be celebrating my 31st birthday and in 20 more weeks our baby will be celebrating her birthday! lol

19 week doc appt

Had my 19 week baby anatomy check this past tues, and it's def a girl! The doctor did an ultrasound and measured Ever part of the baby( to make sure everything is where n how it should be) .
She said everything is looking great and baby is exactly where it should be.
Iv been little worried because I'm 5 months and only gained 7-8lbs ( which is normal I guess) but I was worried the baby should be bigger by this point or at least I should!!
Don't get me wrong, I'm extremely happy I'm haven't gained a ton of weight and wish it could stay at only 7lbs but as long as the baby is all good n growing then that's all that matters! :)

18 weeks

I have a doctors appt. tues to officially find out the sex of the baby, although the 3D place I went to said 100% girl. But the very cool thing that's new is I'm beginning to feel the baby kick around! Such a crazy feeling, it kinda feels like a muscle spasm or food digesting but it defiantly is not.

This pic is what my belly looks like when I'm laying, looks like I swallowed a grapefruit!
